My topic for our ARW essay is "Japanese Public Policy of Abortion: Learning from 2007 Election in The US."
I was in the US as a foreign exchange students for a year when the election was held. I saw the opinions of both McCain and Obama about abortion on TV. That time, discussion about abortion was held in school, home and everywhere. Some of my friends were on McCain side which disagreed abortion, some other friends were on Obama side which agreed abortion. I could see both of opinions, and I could not decide my mind whether abortion should be allowed by government or not. That is why I am interested in this topic.
Now, I do not basically agree with abortion, so my thesis can be "Learning from discussion between two candidates in 2007 election, Japanese government should state the law which makes people not do abortion easily."
I think your topic is really interesting because you heard the opinion of different country and culture people and I think that must help your essay to think of many aspect of your essay.

I would like to make some suggestions for revision of this thesis statement.

Please add the supporting ideas, the reasons why this change in law should be done.
